Tom Rice – Director

Tom Rice studied at Weymouth College in Dorset.

In 2003 he qualified as an approved electrician in all aspects of electrical installation.

In 2007 he moved to Australia to begin a new branch of his career.

He was approached by a Sydney based lighting design practice and manufacturer of high-quality lighting products. Originally working as a showroom manager, he quickly moved up through the business to become a lighting design consultant and project manager.

Tom learnt a variety of skills and gained extensive knowledge from the company’s director and senior consultants, and during his time there worked on projects with some of Australia’s leading architects and interior designers.

In 2012 - and back in the UK - Tom created TWR Lighting & Electrical.

His vision was to create a business that offers customers the complete package when building or renovating their home. 

By combining his experience of both lighting design and electrical contracting, he is confident that there are options to suit any budget, providing a professional, affordable and creative design for any project.
